ABOUT US

Known the world over, Wimbledon is well established as a quality retail shopping experience, it is also the UK head office base for a number of well known household names who have chosen to locate their business here because Wimbledon has great public transport links, easy accessibility to key roads and a local source of well-qualified employees. These days Wimbledon is recognised as a prestigious location, offering a wide choice of shops, theatres, restaurants and leisure activities, making it a great place to do business and work.

Introducing Love Wimbledon - Business Improvement District

Wimbledon Town Centre Management was run by Merton Chamber of Commerce and made great strides in putting Wimbledon on the map. Events such as Winter Wonderland and the markets, as well as a variety of performers became regular features. Our links with key stakeholder groups and the local authority meant we could influence action on key issues such as crime, graffiti, transport and parking. Town Centre Management also actively influenced new developments in the town centre. We would like to thank all our local businesses for their kind contributions over the years which allowed Wimbledon Town Centre Management to achieve all that it did.

Since April 1st 2012, Love Wimbledon has been set up by Wimbledon businesses to promote and improve Wimbledon town centre, ensuring it fulfils its potential and capitalises on opportunities available. Love Wimbledon brings together the work of Wimbledon Town Centre Management and the Wimbledon Going For Gold campaign, consolidating them into a focused, adaptable and effective body for the town centre.

In the coming weeks we will be migrating all the information currently on the Wimbledon Town Centre website across to the new Love Wimbledon Website and this site will be closed down. Visitors to this site will automatically be routed through to the new Love Wimbledon website.
