Inside the Odeon Wimbledon
The 12 screen Odeon Cinema opened in December 2002 replacing the old 5 screen cinema that had served the local community for many years. Since the cinema opened in 2002 the cinema has become one of the busiest in the country and continues to grow.

All auditoria have large screens and all are equipped with Dolby Digital sound systems. The cinema is fully accessible with wheelchair spaces and a 2 channel infra-red hearing system in all screens. The cinema is also equipped with subtitling and audio description technology so that at least one film a week is accessible to blind and deaf customers.

Wimbledon Odeon offers more than just Hollywood blockbusters, the widest range of films possible are shown every week and we are committed to providing as much choice as possible to all audiences. Our commitment to film is such that we have been showcasing a short film in front of a major film by a local film-maker to help establish local film making.
