about joining Wimbledon Town Centre Management
A thriving town centre is integral to the success of our communities.
Wimbledon Town Centre Management
strives to make the town a better place for local businesses, their customers
and local residents. As a newspaper serving the local area, it is essential
that we keep in touch with the key issues and, where possible, help influence
those improvements. Katherine Glass, Wimbledon

Committed to its success...
I am pleased to be a board member of the Town Centre Management, and
be part of the decision
making process which will ultimately ensure that Wimbledon is one of the
leading towns in the South West of London in which to live, work and shop.
We are committed to its success. Mike Briggs, Group Marketing Co-Ordinator,

the difference it has made...
We've supported the town
centre management initiative since it was launched and have experienced
the difference it has made. As a member of the Town Centre Partnership,
and chair of the Executive Committee, I am proud of the achievements of
Wimbledon Town Centre Management to date, and look forward to welcoming
new business partners.

I feel I have a voice....
For me it's about opportunities to help shape the environment and influence
the communit y
in which we operate as a business. I can meet and communicate with all
the big players in the business sector, which has already proved to be
very advantageous. I feel I have a voice, which is listened to, and I
have been able to talk to someone about issues in Wimbledon that I have
felt strongly about (and something has been done about it!) Supporting
all this is money well spent and I would urge everyone to do the same.

No Forum, No Voice
Wimbledon Town Centre Management is the single most important forum for
local businesses interested in taking a longer term view of this fantastic
town . The resource is there and can be used by any business manager who
recognizes the value of open discussions targeted at the right people.
Participation is a democratic entitlement and should be exercised regularly
to be effective. This is a positive initiative which can benefit all those
who participate. San Lorenzo Fuoriporta has become involved to ensure
that we actively support the interests of our local community. Ghigo

top quality staff...
Wimbledon town centre is very important to all local businesses of whatever
size and is not limited to the retail sector. As a non-retail business
a vibrant town centre is important for our ability to recruit and retain
top quality staff as well as providing a focus for the fulfillment of
our civic responsibilities as a local employer.” Paul Windsor,
Partner, Windsor Stebbing Marsh www.wsm.co.uk

benefits our business...
CIPD has its national HQ in Wimbledon and is one of Wimbledon's biggest
commercial employers. We belong to the town centre partnership because
it benefits our business and staff recruitment and retention to work with
others to make sure the town is a good place to live and work. Kristina
