WINTER WONDERLAND 2011 PARADE BOOKING FORM

Thank you for your interest in taking part in our Winter Wonderland 2011 parade. Please apply by completing the application form below. We will come back to you to confirm your place in the parade.

If you do not yet know the numbers taking part, please make an estimate (eg. 10-15). If your group includes children, please ensure that you have a sufficient ratio of adult/children in your group. You will be responsible for the children in your care at all times and need to make your own direct arrangements with their parents/carers for safe arrival and departure from the parade. Full details will be given to you on confirmation, but please read the 'rules and guidelines' on the right of the page before making your booking.

*We will be producing a hand held banner with your company/school name on it to be held at the front of your group in the parade, so that visitors know who is in the parade.

PARADE RULES & GUIDELINES

  1. The parade must start promptly at 6.30pm. Please ensure all members of your group arrive no later than 6.15pm for line-up.
  2. On arrival, please report to the Parade Manager.
  3. Please ensure you have the correct ratio of adult/children in your group.
  4. You will be responsible for the safety and welfare of the children in your care at all times.
  5. Please keep your group well contained during line-up and throughout the parade to ensure everyone can hear the instructions from the Parade Manager, and to prevent any accidents.
  6. Please maintain a good 8-10ft gap between the front of your party and the party in front of you throughout the route of the parade.
  7. Please walk at a steady pace, not too fast, not too slow - the stewards will advise you along the route.
  8. Line up is from St Mark's Church Hall. Be there by 6.15pm please. Vehicles to line up in Compton Road.
  9. Disassembly is in Kings Road (off the Broadway) and collection of children by parents should be done here.
  10. Then get back to the main area to watch the fireworks!!
